Eligibility Requirements

• This platform is for biological women only
• Applicants must be in a state or federal prison
• No county or regional jail placements (unless officially listed due to overcrowding)
• All applicants must be verifiable through a state or federal corrections website

Application & Payment Policy

• All applications must be paid in full before being posted

• Applications not paid within 10 days will be deleted

• If deleted, a new application must be submitted

• No refunds — ineligible applications will be treated as donations

Payment Methods

Important Responsibilities

• You are responsible for ensuring the inmate’s facility allows participation in penpal listings
• We are not responsible for institutional restrictions or consequences

Photos & Content Guidelines

*Photos may be sent to us at info@baddiebehindbars.com

• Maximum 3 photos included with basic application
• Additional photos: $1 each (at time of submission only)
• Photos must be:
  
  • Taken within the last 3 years
  • Clear and appropriate
  • Free of filters that distort appearance

🚫 Not allowed:

• Sexual or explicit content
• Glamour/bikini-style images
• Cropped/hidden faces
• Copyrighted images

Photos that do not meet guidelines will not be used.

Content Rules

• No offensive, degrading, or negative content

• No website links or external references

• Profiles must remain respectful and appropriate

Profile Management

• Only the inmate may request removal of her page

• Requests must come directly from the inmate’s facility

• Profiles may take up to 14 days to go live

Additional Terms

• Fraudulent information may result in removal or notice on profile
• Submitted applications cannot be edited after submission
